“Humata, Hukhta, Hvarshta” – inscribed in the ancient Avestan language, on the crest of the Founder of Tata Steel, Jamsetji Nusserwanji Tata, means Good Thoughts, Good Words and Good Deeds. These are also the underpinnings of the values that guide Tata Steel, a Company formed on 26th August, 1907 to nurture communities through the mother of all industries- steel. A hundred years later, as we, in Tata Steel, track some of the defining milestones in our life through this Calendar, we look forward to another hundred years of living with Good Thoughts, Good Words and Good Deeds.
