Mr Radhakrishnan Nair is a Graduate in Commerce from Delhi University and a Post Graduate in PM&IR from XLRI. At the age of 47, Mr Nair has 23 years of service to his credit, which has widened his perspective of people and their behavioural patterns.

His foray with various companies, such as, Indal (when it was a subsidiary of Alcan Montreal), Eicher, Mahindra Ford, Citibank, Mahindra British Telecom and Suntech Business Solutions, a Kerala based software company, has helped him gain a better understanding of himself and also external environmental reactions to one's internal self.

Having taken over as Chief Human Resource Officer, Tata Steel, at a juncture when the company is progressing towards expansion and globalisation, Mr Nair hopes that his new portfolio will enable him to understand and implement the concept of 'Unity in Diversity' in his life. His endeavour would be to contribute effectively towards retaining humaneness in a highly competitive corporate world.
