Ratanji Dadabhai Tata joined Tata Steel in 1925 and soon acquired
the position of the Director of Tata Sons in 1926. With his
farsightedness and versatility he took the company to new heights
and soon acquired the position of the Chairman of Tata Sons in 1938.
Mr. Tata's vision for the group was vast and unimaginable but his
strategy and dedication grew the enterprise from 14 companies to 95
across a range of industries encompassing steel, power generation,
engineering, hotels, consultancy services, information technology,
consumer and industrial products. |
