| Mr.
Keenan had a long association with the Tata Group. He came to India
way back in 1913, as foreman in the blast furnaces of TISCO. Soon he
was promoted to the position of Assistant Superintendent of the Open
Hearth section in the company. During his stay at Tata steel, Mr.
Keenan moved within several departments. He held the position of a
Superintendent in the Duplex Plant and later, in the blast furnace
department too. In 1926 he graduated to the rank of General
Superintendent of the Plant and four years later in 1930, he became
the General Manager of the company. He served in the position till
1938. |
